I hate people who do that. Thats why I only donate to the Red Cross because the clothes go to people who REALLY need it.

Random kid in school. "Look as my kickass used jacket I got for $2."

Salvation Army isn't in it to help people but to just make money.

What do you think they do with the money?

They spend it on programs and services for the poor/disabled/etc. Did you think that Salvation Army guy with the bucket and the bell outside Macy's last Xmas was just keeping all that change?

Red Cross is MUCH more helpful towards people who need it. I'd rather see my old clothes go to someone who needs them rather then sold to sume punk rock kid where a very small percentage goes to actually helping people. The Red Cross does so much more.

I only vaguely remember Bob Ross from my childhood. Last year, though, I was given the opportunity to play him in a community production, (I have the hair naturally so I was instantly casted), and watched a bunch of episodes. Good stuff.

yeah, hot topic is commercialized teen punk bull. Goth is commercial, punk is commercial. I hate it when these kids go to hot topic to buy the cool clothes.

It sells.

My favorite place for cool clohes is the salvation army, and goodwill. Anyways.

Unfortunately, a lot of the mentioned above go there to be K3w1.

I buy clothes. Whatever looks good, and doesn't cost too much, I buy.

I agree there Kaz. I go to goodwill because I like trying to find good stuff there. Little trasure hunting going on. These days I spend most of my time in old navy, or my mother keeps buying me clothes at garage sales. I don't really go to hot topic that much either.

Bob Ross was probably the calmest man ever on tv. He *almost* inspired me to start painting, then laziness and reality set in.

When I was poor, I still wouldn't buy used clothes. It strikes me as a tad nasty. Buy new and wear it out was my motto.
