    Out there!
I've gotten to see Bobby only one time, in 2006, playing with the Jefferson Airplane/Starship.

He really is the man. Bass groove just falls out of him like breathing out.

First time I went to NAMM in Anaheim he was staying in the hotel room next door. Great guy I've hung with him a few times since including Detroit Bass day (he used a couple of my shots in Bass Player). He has a love for the instrument and an enthusiasm for the history and sound of the instrument. I've played that Teal green J on the stand to the far right a couple of times.
