Bombyx Mori album is finally here

Hello everybody!

I would like to say sorry already for this long post: finally the album I’ve been working on for the past 3 years is ready, since the pandemic put a stop on all of my “traditional live bands” and since I had these 11 songs in a closet waiting to be arranged/recorded etc, I decided to work with “online musicians” from all over the world so I recorded all of the bass tracks and began to spread them around to find someone who was interested in working on them and could play the way I wanted to (I mean with the “mood” which was right for me).

Furthermore I am proud the people who worked on this record came from completely different musical/cultural/religious/social backgrounds, even if I’ve never met them in person, I’ve found awesome human beings and many of them never worked on a metal project before too:

  • Drums => Italy
  • Bass => Italy
  • Guitars => India/Brazil/Argentina/Italy/Japan
  • Synth/keyboards/FX’s => Ukraine/India/Finland/Italy
  • Brass section (on “Leaves in the Wind”) => Usa
  • Theremin (on “Through the Lens”) => Italy
  • Bagpipes/Celtic Whistles (on “Clockwork Man”) => Germany
  • Harmonica (on “Liars”) => Australia
  • Sax (on “The Promise”) => Nigeria
  • Vocals => Netherlands/Usa
  • Mix/Master => Sri Lanka

I’m really satisfied with the final result and I hope you’re going to enjoy listening to these songs as much as I did recording them and I can’t wait to read your comments about this album (both positive and negative comments are welcome of course, it’s always the right time for me to learn and improve), here you can find Spotify link to the music:
