My problem is that the stores that have a lot of the uncommon models that I've played, aren't MusicMan dealers. And the stores that are MusicMan dealers (GC), don't carry Bongos. The only one I've ever seen in real life was in a GC on a fluke.
I'm thinking that it didn't stick with me cause I didn't know the controls and that it prolly had really dead strings. At GCs (I guess its only the ones around here), they have a problem with changing strings on musicmans. So almost every musicman has strings so dead that they've turned black, smell really bad, and of course sound and play really bad. I think its because they're so expensive they get played. I think I can count on one hand of how many musicmans at GC I've played with good strings.
