Those may be the trashiest looking instruments I have ever seen. Certainly the trashiest "signature" basses I've ever seen. I thought dumpy air-brush on top of glittery spray paint went out with shag carpet and wood paneling.

Honestly, I care less about the look than the sound, and I just don't see how a semi-hollow with a standard low-mass bridge is going to sound like bootsy.

What makes you say Warwick's bridge a "standard low mass"?
Are looking at the right bass?

its understandable that its not a star shaped bass. Warwick is pretty conservative about crazy custom body shapes,the only one that has a remotely custom design body shape is the stuart zender bass and thats all in the horns.

The Buzzard looks pretty radical and ugly to me.
