Is it TRS -> TRSYou can make a shorter patch cable for Serial GK, twin twisted Beldon data cable with foil screen + shield drain wire, and two TRS jack plugs.
No. I'm not good at those things, but not the point. They should have anticipated that option. You can make a shorter patch cable for Serial GK, twin twisted Beldon data cable with foil screen + shield drain wire, and two TRS jack plugs.

or TRS -< RTS
Correct, it is the Ibanez EHB1506MS. I may go for the full GM800/GK5B! If the tracking is truly better, then it's gonna be so killing!!Looks like that's what was used in the demo. Looked like a headless multiscale Ibanez. EHB1506 probably?
I've been waiting for that myself. So are there any youtube Bass examples at all yet?
Really keen to see the GM-800 in action with either the GK-5B, or GK-3B with the GKC-AD converter (GK-13-pin to GK-Serial).
I suspect it is a pretty niche investment for most bassists to take. The new pickup design itself isn’t likely to improve tracking speed (appears to just be the same design as a GK-3 but with AD conversion in the pickup vs in the pedal) so bass tracking will probably still have significant latency, though I suspect you’ll eek a bit faster tracking than a GR-55 due to presumably a significantly better/faster processor in the unit since the GR-55 is pretty lacking in processing power/speed (still the physics of pitch tracking mean the majority of the latency is going to be inherent). The new pickup might improve tracking accuracy to a degree by eliminating long analog cable runs. It seems like the editing options for sounds will likely be a massive improvement over the GR-55 though! So no one here has one yet ?
I got to sell off more gear before I get one.
Still using my GR-55 + SY-1000 for gigs,
but after 12 years use, the GR-55 is starting to look at bit battle worn.
Will also need the GKC-AD converter to use my existing GK 13 pin basses and gats.
I'm going to get one for my bass. Why not. Lets see what it can do....Please Boss release one of these, but for bass… I’ve been waiting for so long for some thing that isn’t a menu dive nightmare. This is exactly what I’m after but it’s for a guitar, just came out recently.
