Level @ 12 o'clock.
Enhance @ 7 o'clock (off)
Ratio @ 9 to 11 o'clock
Threshold @ 12 o'clock
Works great for evening out the sound coming from my EB MM stingray 5 (running flat with a touch of bass boost) into my Markbass 102P combo (also running flat).

Do you play with a pick? Then try this:
Level - set to taste as per your needs
Enhance - off
Ratio - maxed
Threshold - from 10 to 11 o'clock
The LMB-3 then becomes a true limiter, which means that you can slam those strings with a pick all you want and it'll keep your volume at an even keel, and you won't get obnoxiously loud.

I found the Enhance too noisy to my taste, so I turn it off. I´ve played choosing a low Ratio of 2:1. It means setting close to 9 o´clock to my ears, and the Threshold between 12 and 1 o´clock.
I used the Level for compensate the volume when pedal is "in" and "out".
