Mine arrives tomorrow and I've ordered the Bluetooth and the Roland (not Boss) backpack that holds it and other items well.

First learning curve question as IR's don't appear to figure prominently on TB...

I just found out that my Two Notes IR's are not available outside that system, but that system is widely compatible with other 3rd party IR cabinets.

Q: Where does one find a batch of good and not super expensive, if possible, Bass cabinet IR's to select from and purchase, that are compatible with the Boss ME-90B system?

Hello Harvey, Yes the top of the board is metal and the back is plastic. The foot pedals are also a heavy duty plastic

Yes, it does. Painted in a lovely slightly sparkle blue finish

I think the footswitchs are the same ones Boss uses on the FS-7 dual footswitch. I've grabbed one to operate the mute on my Roland D 210 combo. (I don't see a mute function on the ME-90B, but I could have missed it too? Perhaps if you engage the tuner??)

I think the footswitchs are the same ones Boss uses on the FS-7 dual footswitch. I've grabbed one to operate the mute on my Roland D 210 combo. (I don't see a mute function on the ME-90B, but I could have missed it too? Perhaps if you engage the tuner??)

The tuner mutes by default, but this can be turned off in the settings if you wish. Page 16 of the manual:

That's what I saw, too. I didn't see a "hit this switch to mute" the processor option, so I figured that would do the trick!

Use the expression pedal as a volume pedal and mute that way by pressing the heel all the way down

Well...

It arrived, I checked it out and I released it back into the wild...I'm glad my Bluetooth and Backpack had not shipped yet!

I'm sure this is the solution for many and I thought it was perhaps something that would be a replacement for a few things for me as well.

I'm reactivating my Two Notes Torpedo Remote account with some nice IR's already purchased and getting an Opus back online. I have two mini pedals (Pigtronix Philosophers Bass Micro (18v) & Mooer FOG Bass Fuzz - "Mammoth") with it, on a D'Addario dual pedal riser with a 400mA Source Audio adapter and an EBS 9v daisy chain.

It was fun though...

So after just over 3 months of use, I am using this exclusively as my all in one solution. I occasionally add an extra pedl but usually just this. Not all the sounds are boutique level but I am not so fussy that I cannot get it set up at any gig. Not hauling around a big pedal board is a win.

I do have an issue though. I purchased the Bluetooth adaptor. It says the unit is paired with my phone, Samsung Android, but the two devices will not connect. I have paired and unpaired several times. I have tried to connect through the app but the app says the unit is not connected to anything and is offline. Online troubleshooting info is mostly non-existant from what I can see. Other than contacting Boss Support, which I haven't yet, does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I use the ME90B MIDI to connect my iPad to the pedalboard to edit patches the same way I would with a wired connection to my laptop.

Sometimes shutting your phone down and rebooting can clear jams. Some people never shut their phone down.

Yes indeed! I had the same issue when trying to pair up my Katana Go with my iPhone. Works perfectly now.

I haven't had a chance to fool around with the bluetooth since asking. Between, rehearsals and gigs, the days have been packed! Lol

But I am using the pedal in both bands. I can coax the sounds I want out of it pretty easily.
