Boss SYB-3 vs SYB-5 vs Behringer BSY-600?

Recently I got the BSY 600 for my birthday, I've been wanting a synth pedal forever just because the videos on YouTube make it seem awesome. This one was so cheap it couldn't be a mistake. But my question is: 1 does it really drain a new 9 volt before you can play one song, or is my **** defective?

I just saw a vid on electro harmonix's Facebook of the Micro Synth. It looks pretty sick. I know it's a different price range, but how the boss/behringers stack up to it?

EHX also makes the RTG and all those other synthy things they make... I got lost for a bit just listening to the samples on their page.

The only way I get a good sound is to run the effect to a '75 Gibson solid state guitar amp ( my roomies), and the the direct or clean to my gk bass rig. But still the battery dies REAL QUICK. Should I send it back while I can? I never played with a bass pedal in my 20 years of playing elec. bass do I do t have no 9 v cn adapter. But really?

Oh no no no no Boompow you're going about this all wrong.

Get the adaptor. Get a simple Boss 200mA or get the OneSpot 1700mA model. Then as you play with the knobs on this synth pedal you can think "I wonder what it would sound like if I add more overdrive to it?...." and you will be on your way. Oh yes, you will begin your march down the primrose path, eating YouTube product demo videos like candy...

Well yea the guitar amp sounds sweet because of the overdrive and the bass amp adds all that low end and smoothness. It does sound good through the bass amp alone but there's more control splitting the signal. Just by the time I get it dialed in where I can really play with it, it starts cutting out, then dies. Next I'm going through my ice 9 pedal I got for my 6 string. But damn now I got to buy an exp pedal and an adapter. Really don't mind the expense but having a broken leg, I haven't worked in over a month so money is real tight right now. I just wanna rock the **** out. Is that so much to ask? Lol

So this is one setting for one amp (gk 400 rb 3 through 15), no added pedals, no exp pedal, boost at a little less than noon, that I found to be very phat, and playable with a simple drummer and vocalist or MC. All freestyling strangers ATM. Got my cast off still struggle to walk but this was def a phat ass good time. Thank you once again Apple. I'm hooked.

Never played an syb-3 but i have the syb-5 and its alot better than the bsy-600. I had 2 defective pedals mailed to me at wich point i gave up and asked for a refund. Needless to say i'm not buying their pedals again, however i have a very good USB soundcard i got from them so Behringer isn't completely out of the picture.
