Bought a Used Bass, need help with IDing the model

Trying to get into bass and i decided to get a used one instead. Found this vigier bass for a pretty good price but i can't find its model, seller also doesnt know what it is.
Its a 4 string vigier bass guitar from what i've gotten.

Ok, yeah, a bit closer, but not really that close, still has a couple of extra "dents" and is "meatier":

Sorry I meant 2x2. But yeah. Vigier are amazing. I have an Excess. The older Vantage instruments were very good too. My first bass was a Vantage Avenger

Like the last person said, hopefully you didn’t pay a more premium price for an instrument that’s not premium. However, that bass does not look awful, and if it has a good set up I could see it playing very well, if you get it playing well but after a while it doesn’t sound that great compared to other basses just put some newer better pickups on it. You said you were getting into bass. And that looks comparable to an Ibanez that’s not super high end, just make it work and put the time in and you will have fun!

Yeah, while a Vigier would've been a true score, there's nothing wrong with that Vantage as a starter bass, either. Rock that puppy. \m/

Man...like a couple others have mentioned, I hope you didn't pay a Vigier price for a Vantage bass...

Even if it is "just" a Vantage, if it has a decent neck/setup, decent strings, and the electronics function well, it'll probably be fine to get going on.

Vantage makes some nice stuff, I’ve had quite a few and they were all pretty nice, hopefully you didn’t get ripped off though, there’s a pretty big price difference between the V brands, what you got is worth drastically less than a Vigier

Headstock shape doesn't look like any Vigier I've seen. Based on that, I'd also be inclined to think that this a 'Vantage' bass, rather than a Vigier.

That is a Vantage bass.
Originally Vantage was a Matsumoku brand (who did manufacturing for many many companies in Japan).
By 1990 Vantage instruments was trademark for sale in the US by Samick, and were made in Korea and Indonesia by Samick until around 2000.
