Brand new basses for $30?

My curiosity has peaked. What can you actually get for this price? Local to Indonesian market but probably made in China. Looks like plastic tuning keys. I am almost ready to take one for the team just to see what shows up.(not really) Terms are no warranty, no complaints, no brand disclosed and "Please understand if there is a slight lack of finishing". A 3rd party site similar to EBay holds the money until the product is delivered, so you are guaranteed to receive something at least somewhat matching the pictures. I can't shake the feeling that I would still be disappointed at $30.

Unless you are a fly, I don’t see the attraction to this pile of…
And I don’t think companies that produce such garbage should be rewarded for wasting natural resources with money.
Hope that’s not too harsh.
I'm sure that's not real wood or at least wood that was good for anything else. It's a bass for the price of decent set of strings. How good could it possibly be?

I’m gonna say these are items from a scam site like ‘protein-burger’. Once they have your cc info your credit rating will plummet because they’ll be using your credit for themselves.

Think about it for a minute. ‘Glarry’ was selling basses 3 years ago at $56. Now they’re selling them for $129 and up. Stay far far away from whatever website you’re looking at.

Scam, sham, day-um

If you bought that’d you’d be paying for a warped neck, separated body, tuners that are just for looks, strings that would unwind or snap if you could get it up to tune.

I wouldn’t even consider it unless I needed a prop or wanted one to smash onstage…

I’m no gear snob, I think you can get a playable bass at a reasonable price, but not $30.

I wouldn’t even trust that as a boat paddle.

It's mind boggling when I see a fairly good, cheap bass like a Rogue sell for $99 SHIPPED when the shipping alone is the price of the bass !!!!

This is one of those basses that the only things that really need replacing are the bridge, pickups, tuners, frets, wiring, and maybe the strings. Other than that, it's perfect.
