Walt is one crumb short of being a complete douchebag pie now, for sure. The crumb being the firehouse stop.
There's a few different possible outcomes for Jesse, but it's looking worse every second. If he ends up killing himself via poison or explosion, I hope he takes that psychopatic sped Todd along.

Is it just me who feels this way or was that not probably the most heartbreaking episode of the whole series?
This is just really great TV. I feel the show has stayed true to its character, and has stayed unpredictable, exciting, and emotional.
Just impressive on every front.
I don't get people who are judging Walt, or Hank, or any of the characters. I enjoy the story, and seeing each one deal with whatever they are going through.

I just don't see how they are going to get to the season opener, with Walt returning to his abandoned house to get the ricin, and then conclude the whole thing, in two shows!
W calling his wife and painting her as uninvolved, when he knew he was being monitored, was his only saving grace as a human being so far. And the firehouse.

So now we know that Walt has taken his barrel of money to start a new life in New Hampshire but is drawn back to New Mexico for some reason. Why? It's doubtful the gang was trying to draw him back since they have Jesse to cook for them and they didn't seem to be to concerned with the quality of the product anyways. Also, the post gunfight scene seems to suggest that Walt and the gang were square.
Or, did Walt's greed for power and money overwhelm him, causing him to abandon his new life in New Hampshire and declare war on the gang? I'd like to think he returned to New Mexico to reclaim his family but I sadly kind of doubt that.

I know it was just an act for the phone, but I liked evil Walt. That was definitely an interesting development.
I'm a little perplexed by Walt Jr. calling the cops when Skylar pulled the knife. That was a very quick decision.

My prediction is this will end like the Godfather III. In trying to "take care of his family," he will lose them and die alone.
Agreed. That was a little too quick, considering that Walt Jr was very much a daddy's boy throughout the show. There's something else to that scene I think.
That was the best episode of TV that I've ever seen.
