That's him, He made a request for more of the Gretchen back story in the final season. Vince supposedly was like..Huh. Yah,,of Corse!

I would have been fine with the un-clearified premise that Walt simply lost Gretchen to his best friend and couldn't take the shame/hit to the Ego and sold out of the company. BUT They made that whole speech about how he left her..

Stephen Colbert had Vince Gilligan on. The show ended with Vince chained up in the basement of the studio while Stephen forced him to keep writing more BB. "What happened to Huell? What happened to Skyler? What will Walt Jr. do with all that money?? What happened to Jesse, did he get into a car wreck, he was driving pretty fast! What if this was all a dream and Walt is back in the doctor's office in the first episode looking at that mustard stain!? KEEP TYPING, BITCH!"

If the episode felt rushed it was because of all the damn commercials.

...a couple of you have mentioned commercials. My GF & me came to Breaking Bad late. We Netflick'd the entire series minus Seasons 5 & 6 (5.1?)...then we used Amazon's TV Pass.

Was the shot of Jesse doing wood working a flashback to the story he told about creating the box and then selling it for drugs or was it a flash forward?

Interesting to think of that scene as a Flash-Forward....did not occur to me, I just saw it as Jesse putting himself in a happier place in lieu of his current situation.

Anyone else find it significant that Walt took a bullet for Jesse?

I thought it was a piece of shrapnel?

I think all the deceased characters (Walt, Uncle Jack, Hank, etc.) come back as zombies in "The Walking Dead". That's what I call continuity!! New season begins Oct 13th.

I don't think he took a bullet for him, certainly not intentionally (he tried to keep them both below the line of fire). Presumably it was either a ricochet/deflection or a bit of shrapnel. However, I did think it was significant that Walt essentially killed himself, doing the damage unintentionally through his own devices with what was (in a way) good intentions. Much like how he got into the situation in the first place.

Yep, they should have got the department involved for support and done it by the book.

This was Hank "breaking bad." Nobody's innocent on this show (okay, perhaps Walt Jr. and Holly).

Walt Jr. was maybe innocent, but he was still a dick for most of the show


I also thought the use of ricin was maybe too obvious in the end. Though I did like the look on her face when Walt was talking of her flu-lke symptoms.

Part of me is still kinda annoyed they didn't kill off Marie . . . oh well

The scene development with the Schwartzs that culminated with the lazer pointers, was gripping and in the end kinda hilarious

At first it was entertaining, the way Walt just walked around the house all casual like. Im thinking "Whats going down once they see him?" Then it was a flip, he just wants them to give Walt Jr the cash. Then Walt went badass on them, if you dont give him the money or go to the cops youre dead. Then they flip it again. Walt was able to coerce them with a few well placed threats and laser pointers. Brilliant!

Well, as far as I can tell the only people who are still alive and know about the $70 million are Jesse, Skylar, Huell and Saul.

Jesse and Skylar don't want it and Huell wouldn't know that the Nazi's took it or any clue where it would be. Only Saul would both know who took it and possibly have the willingness to go after it.

Everyone else that knew about the $80 million (Walt, Hank, Gomez, Jack, Todd and the rest of the Nazis) are dead.

I think the money is meant to stay gone. While it may be a huge sum, it became irrelevant to the main characters.

It's the same place he hid a giant meth lab and evidence of kidnapping/slavery. I'm guessing he figured it was secure. I'm in the camp that believes the $70 million became irrelevant.
