You have said on multiple occasions in this very thread, and provided video highlights, to indicate Favre gave away multiple games, including last years NFCCG. If anything, that comment alone is an insult to the teams that won the games. Summarizing your comments......the Saints did not win the game, Favre gave it to them with a bad decision.

Yes, it IS the way the game is played. Don't like it, don't watch. It's a CONTACT SPORT. There were "dirty" plays going both ways, if you want to go that route - again, show me where a Saints player AFTER THE PLAY WAS OVER, continued to do something to FAR-VUH. You CAN'T. I can find video instantly of that jack@$$ Jared Allen doing just so to Brees. Brees didn't cry about it, no Saints fans are blaming any part of the game on it.

The Saints DID win the game, by harassing, hitting, and generally beating FAR-VUH up until he made a bad decision. They knew his weaknesses, they went after them, that's life. He rattles eventually, and when he does he starts turning the ball over. FAR-VUH didn't give anything away, the Saints D forced him to start making his typical dumb@$$ mistakes.

Finally, this thread isn't about this crap in any way - it's about FAR-VUH and his incessant self-promoting, self-centered media whoring - no one in their right mind can argue he isn't that now.

Knock it off. You're acting like I don't know anything about football. First you said Favre cost them the game with the INT, now the story is the Saints won the game. Make up your mind. I lean to the Saints winning the game myself.

So back to Favre. Until an official announcement is made by Favre, I bet he plays again. I hope he plays.

...really, you make a comment about how the Saints won with dirty play (one which is based in no way on FACT), I refute it, and I can't make up my mind? I've always said that the REASON FAR-VUH made his mistakes was because of the pressure he was under for the entire game - he MADE a mistake BECAUSE of the way the Saints D played.

Is THAT such a difficult concept to follow, really?

I hope he plays again too...on those "wheels", with the spaghetti-strainer O line in Minnesota, he will not last half the game.

This thread is littered with comments by you how Favre himself has directly cost his team victories and given away games. One of the games you cited was last years NFCCG. Following your logic means the other team did not win the game, but Favre gave it to them. But instead, the Saints came out and played smash mouth football and won the game. So which is it? Did Favre give away the game with a poor decision and INT, or did the Saints win by playing better football?

No, I do not need to be educated that football is a contact sport, and that is why I told you to knock that off.

Wow, Gard seems to hate Favre more than me by now. Anyway, Favre's an a$$ in the Nth degree.

I remember him calling out Javon Walker for holding out and not being at camp, and now he's pulling this retirement crap in order to not be at training camp. This is old crap, and the ploy is so dumb that most people can see through it. But, Favre can't just say, I want to collect my cash and play when the season starts.

What makes Favre a dope is that he's being a crappy leader towards the end of his career. There's a bunch of youngsters on the team, shouldn't they benefit from his 19 years of experience. Wouldn't it make sense to at least take some snaps with the first team to make sure your timing is down? Yes, he's hurt but there's plenty of injured players who are with their teams on the sideline during camp, doing something as opposed to hanging out at home and waiting around. And all this retirement crap is a team distraction. It's no less a distraction than a marquee player who gets arrested off the field. Aside from all this, there's 13 million reasons why he should be at camp.

But instead of just saying, I'm going to rehab at home and skip camp, he does this retirement drama. And we just eat this crap up. The storyline is still the same. Favre is going to play, but he's not showing up at camp.

Farve WILL lose either way. There's no way he can take a similar beating year after year and have his "gunslinger" arm save him repeatedly. Gunslingers who aren't smart enough to hang their gunbelts up, get shot in the A$$ by a kid with a shotgun.

He better be wise enough to know history will not continue to repeat itself. Especially the way he "retires" to keep from working.

If he put me through that crap as a player, I'd "miss" a block or two ;)


More than likely his last play in the game, he'll leave on a stretcher with irrepairable damage.

He ain't all there.
