I actually just ordered a satin white fretless B25 to go with my totally evil, blacked-out fretted B25! I don't have the self control, so I paid extra to have them build it faster. Haha.

Now the Darth Vader bass will have a storm trooper!

Hi B25 owners. Just a small question. Is it only my B25 pickup blend works strange? To get a bridge pickup need to turn clockwise (toward neck pickup) and same for neck pickup you turn towards the bridge?? For 2 years now i can't get used to it.
Every other bass you always turn towards needed pickup....

Actually, this the way I wire all my blends...it just makes since to my warped mind. But all you have to do is just switch the pickup hot wires and it'll be what you want, the "wrong" way.

Yes, Brian Bromberg likes his blend knob wired backwards.

The 2 little red wires soldered on the front circuit board needs to be reversed if you want the blend to work the "wrong" way, otherwise known as your preferred "right" way.

Sadowskys and some others are wired similarly, FWIW....you get used to it. Think of it as treble forward, bass back....

I have the single coil pups, and the hum is too much if I'm not dead center, so my knob may as well be welded at the detente. Detent. Whatever.

I am interested in ordering one of these with a walnut body. I know the body is relatively small in comparison to a Fender Jazz. Anyone have a good guess as to the weight of a B24s walnut?
I know that I can go with a walnut top B24 but that would be another $250-300 right?

Here is my beauty with the walnut body and headstock. It is the most comfortable bass to wear and play for long periods.
