I'm putting together a acoustic style bridge(1 pc saddle). Can someone tell me the angle that the saddle is set at to intonate correctly (since the bass side is set farther back than the treble)?

The bridge is mounted perpindicular to the strings.
I need to cut a channel for the saddle blank to ride in
Can someone tell me what angle I need to cut the channel in relation to the edge of the bridge for proper intonation?

There isn't really a set angle as far as I know. It is mostly a best fit based on how the instrument should be intonated. Stewart MacDonald has a tool for doing it: http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Tools/Special_tools_for:_Bridges/1/The_Intonator/Pictures.html#details.
I would say that you could probably look at a bass similar to whatever it is that you are building and base the angle off of whatever the best fit to the saddle offset is.
