Bridge question - Hipshot D

It's a warwick/alembic type set but boxier, limited in intonation range, so stud placement is crucial, but hipshot makes some decent stuff, so it should be good quality.

When I looked at it, it did seem as though there is almost zero room for error in placement. Tough call cuz it's a nice looking bridge.

Too new to say this point. But I'm sure it's no different than any other 2 piece bridge (ala gibson, alembic or warwick)

Actually, from the appearance, the saddles look like they have just as much space to move as the Type a bridges.........HMMMMM.....

A new fad begins...LOL. A bit costly, but probably faster than ETS for delivery, and a good option for customers. Not a piece I would personally use though. I love being different...LOL

Very cool Rip, I have a few ETS units I have had for quite awhile now since Luke Sheridan turned me onto them. Do a review when you get it, would be good info for the masses.

I'm not too concerned with placement. I can figure it out. My biggest concern was the amount of travel in the saddles, but I decided to go for it. It should be here by Friday.

Both. It's heavy, but also looks to be built to extremely high standards. I'd have no problem recommending it now, even before actually installing it.

Not sure why I would switch from the industry standard "A" style? Is it made to replace a cheaper stock bridge that I don't recognize or is it just so people can try something different? does look nice and solid for sure.
