I was able to play one of these today. Played and sounded fantastic. Was very lightweight. A little pricey for what it is but isn’t everything these days?

British Racing Green Player Precision Bass

Got one in yesterday, Guitar Center online had a sale that brought the prices down to about $850, so about equivalent to a regular Player. Semi completes my "dark green" collection of Tele (Am Pro Sherwood), Strat (CME Sherwood Player) and Precision (Player). Was good out of box, though I think I got an off a rack one from a store vs a new one from the back room, bass was bubble wrapped in a box, no documentation or warranty paperwork etc
Its SUPER light compared to my SB2 and Ash Jazz. Didnt weigh it, but those two are 10+ lbs so this one is probably ~9 lbs or slightly below. Action is a little low for me, need to raise the bridge saddles a bit and probably swap out the stock strings. Not sure if I want to go flats and keep it classic, go with standard nickel and rock out, or set it up specifically for BEAD. Jammed a bit with my kid on drums, its a P bass, no muss no fuss, but its SO pretty. Its really quite a dark green, and really needs good light to show it off, but then WOWZA shes a looker. Pics to come soon.

I LOVE that colour it is out of this world, can't find this bass anywhere here in Holland :-(I have a soft spot for British Racing Green, really don't need another bass but this looks
I think it's new, apparently limited edition, haven't heard anything about it yet.
Anyone seen one in the wild yet?
Looks to come stock with SD Quarter Pounder pickups.
