ummmm... I'm on the P15 wait list, if thats what you mean. Or is this more like a support group?

I have wants to get a bunch more pedals, but no current plans to order any of the following:
  • JoshWah
  • Bass Box
  • Synth Voice
  • Archetype
  • New mystery preamp
  • Future short runs
So far I don't have any Broughton tube pedals, so an Archetype or Super Stack (or Power Stage) would be cool.

Yeah, this thread may be a bit misleading to anyone not in-the-know.
Aside from the P15 there is no waitlist for new or existing Broughton pedals. Any reference to a wait list in other Broughton "super" threads is very most likely a running joke between the "regulars" in said thread.

[...]
Just to be clear...there aren't actually any lists for pedals. It will be listed on the website when it's ready. [...]

@Stumbo, maybe you should change the name of this thread a little to avoid confusion.

I'm hoping for a Broughctave to pop up for sale, either used or a small batch rerelease by Josh. I was late to the Broughton party and missed out on a lot of cool pedals (although I do have 5 Broughton pedals on my board now), and that's the main one I'd really like to get my hands on.

I'd love to not sell you my Broughctave.

I'm kinda dumb when it comes to octavers. What's the main difference between the Broughctave and the Synth Voice? Broughctave is a modified/improved Boss OC-2 circuit? Does it have an octave up as well, or just octave down?

Broughctave is a refined OC2: no -2 octave knob, added filter voicing controls for the octave, clean, and square wave fuzz signals. Dual footswitches that you can change what they do.

The Synth Voice is Josh's cool new analogue octaver that does things that no other octave on the market does to my knowledge. If you check out the clips he's made, you'll be able to hear the difference.

The SV seems interesting. If I find I use my OC-2 in the longer term, I'd be looking to replace it with a modern pedal that can work as a stand-alone rather than the 3-pedal setup it takes to have the OC-2 on my board. Which of course would free up more space for other things. :P
