Still probably Josh’s coolest pedal. This pedal made me fall down the PLL rabbit hole. At one point I had 5 different PLLs and Josh’s is the most wild (fav is the PurPLL) and most versatile. It’s a ton of fun and you can get some very usable sounds and some very unusable sounds from it! Congrats on the score!

Can someone post a photo of the FFxL next to a regular Broughton for size comparison?

Also, anyone with buyers remorse on the Archetype...you know you shouldn’t have and the mrs gonna kill you when she sees it on the PayPal...hit me up! I really want to run my pedal board through that puppy.

Finally got to check out the Sunder and Solarian, and I really like them. The Sunder is heavy, but in a really cool way, compared to the Bass Box I can still really pick out definition. Solarian @18v so far sounds great behind drives, mixes well with tube drives, can't wait to see what else, suggestions welcomed. They also both have purple lights lol, didn't expect that

I have a question about stacking drives -

I run, now, a Studio Boost and Solarian which both either color or boost the signal respectively. Being both have a level/volume I can get unity gain so I'd say they probably color more than anything. I also have a Sunray, Azure, Locust and now Sunder for drive, I don't really run either at once but that is my options. After all of that I do use a Monocomp to level things out a bit, sometimes, but when engaging different drives at different moments its hard to tell if I'm getting drive from the drive pedal, and drive from raising the input on the Archetype/P15 ect. preamp? I've ran boosts into many clean preamps to make them dirty, but is there a way to tell if I'm over driving my preamp, or is this just something I shouldn't worry about and run with what sounds good. I like to know what's going on sometimes and I really wonder if my end result is something like 75% Sunder and 25% preamp valve drive. Thanks

** maybe I made this overly complicated - I shouldn't be worried about driving other preamps with boost and/or OD pedals correct? for instance, using a SV Boost in front of a Sunray, a Studio Boost in front of a P15, Solarian in front of a SVPCL? using boosts/ODs to push the preamp downstream more, is similar to pushing the preamp itself?? **
