That’s different. Never seen an XLR in on one before. And it seems to be missing a knob. And no top jacks. And then there was this one, check out the input - not all of them are like that correct? XLR mic in?

Correct, most are not like that. I assume this was maybe the very first one. I remember Josh going through a bit of a consultation with us fine folks here for what features should be included in the first "production run" of S1s way back in the day. The XLR in was nixed, XLR out bottom left always on, top jacks, and pass filters added, to get to the "current" version. And then there was this one, check out the input - not all of them are like that correct? XLR mic in?

Any time between 12:00 AM EST - 7:00 AM EST.I think i've resolved myself to trying to pick up an SVD... we'll see how quick on the draw I am. Is there a pattern to what time of day for drops? early morning?
Just don’t go to sleep Thursday night and you should be fine. The pattern is 1) the drop. 2) the sell out 3) the crushed dreams 4) the gnashing of teeth after carts were unceremoniously trapdoored.I think i've resolved myself to trying to pick up an SVD... we'll see how quick on the draw I am. Not going to sleep is pretty damn easy...Just don’t go to sleep Thursday night and you should be fine. The pattern is 1) the drop. 2) the sell out 3) the crushed dreams 4) the gnashing of teeth after carts were unceremoniously trapdoored.
3 and 4 are pretty interchangeable. Like a 3a and 3b.
Staying awake is the hard part. Not going to sleep is pretty damn easy...
That’s more like it.I see a market for a Broughton alarm clock.
Goes off 2 minutes after the drop sells out and plays Another One Bites The Dust.
Dunno, seems to me that if there was even a candidate for a re-release, besides the Sunray, it would be the S1.
I know I've requested it on the feedback page a few times.
I’m excited to see more of what Josh has up his sleeve. He’s produced a bunch of top notch dirt & preamps, I’m waiting for the brough phaser that does screaming resonant sounds á la GØGGSI can’t see Josh not making another run.
He’s done a few. I chock it up to him just having so many ideas and projects it doesn’t warrant revisiting right now if I had to guess.
Yeah he’s got the components but it’s a build dedication. Neve, gain stage. EQ, HLP, DI out, Ground lift. Etc.
It’ll be back around.
Does this perspective come from having played through a Bass Box as well?
