Thanks Team Broughton :D. you guys were right, as soon as I emailed the sales team, Josh replied straightaway..."I would try a buffer before the Locust Star. You are most likely creating a big antenna with your bass, and completing the circuit when touching the knob. The pedal is probably trying to amplify radio frequencies, and since it's not really good at doing that, it oscillates and becomes apparent in the audio band.

So I put a buffer, a lot actually LOL, I had a hunch that the LS doesn't want to go near SS because the tube, maybe. It reduced the radio-squelch sound considerably. Happy now with the result.
