I'm looking to move a Azure Drive and Locost Star, in the classifieds at the moment for a pretty good price. In need of quick cash and these pedals need to move on to somebody who will use them!

……Omni will definitely be on the board this time (replacing Cali76-CD).
………Finding it hard to like anything other than the Apex for a long time now.
Having the itch for a monocomp.. again
They do definitely cover a lot of the same ground. I think I actually prefer the Omnicomp on bass, but I've kept the Cali76cd around because I also really like it on guitar... it plays really well in the FX loop on my guitar amp (Supro Blues King 1x12).I actually sold my Cali76cb after grabbing an Omni, I felt like the Omni had that vibe covered.
I still have a big box cali76 (with the lundahl transformer) though.

24 volts or bust - I didn't have a single piece of gear that would make that thing clip, even big preamps. Some don't like the baked in attack/release, whatever its set at, I likeI was considering letting one go until I experimented with placement.
I usually prefer running comps after the amp flavor pedals and the monocomp was meh in that role.
After moving it up front (but still post dirt) it really came to life for me and I suddenly understood why y’all had been digging it.
It’s definitely got some mojo going!
I don't, but now I am sort of interested after reading a post about it in the ME thread.Any Broughtonians have experience with the ME Super 100? I see it's based on the Hiwatt DR103 and I fargin' love John Wetton's tone. Curious about how close it gets.

Truthfully I think that in isolation (i.e. bass > pedal > interface), the 76 sounds a little nicer than the Omni, but once it's been placed in a signal chain with other things that color the tone more, the Omni has a punch to it that is more pleasing to me.
This is exciting to read as I just received a Brimarized LA-1A today.I liked the Cali76 CB, but it was noisy and very sensitive to what I put in front of it. I replaced it with an Effectrode LA-1A. Great comp if you have room on the board for it.

The Bistro does not have a good Thanksgiving turkey on the menu? What a shocker! Now if Turkey was good we’d be in bizzness. Give me Prime rib and Lasagna.

I need to give the Omniconp another trial run.
