I'm still working on the the website idea I proposed earlier. Until then I'll just post here what's coming up next. Archetype Boost is in the works now. Resound after that. Then Christmas stuff. That should be enough to keep me busy for the rest of the year. I have a quick project I can squeeze in there if time permits.

FYI: Josh doesn't post much in this thread (relatively) so it's very easy to locate his replies, especially his recent ones (this is the most recent), by searching posts by his username within this thread

I did find it kind of funny that I tried to sign up for a Notify when Available after the sell out just in case there was B-stock (or some elaborate plan to mess with everyone who knows all the tricks). It said I was already signed up to receive alerts for the Archetype, so that auto-email definitely never triggered on the server end lol

There only had to be 15-20 of these at most, right? In my hazy memory, only like 2 TBers confirmed they got one? The 50 pedal drops at least last a few minutes.

You won't regret it. It's fantastic, both for compression and tonal magic. I'm hoping the success of this second batch encourages Russ to build even more so this doesn't become another Cali76 TX-LP situation.

Did the same, morning dreams being equally crushed. Already got the QS for Arch flavour, looks like this one is a great contender for end-of-line compression and tonal magic ! But yeah, the Arch boost stacked with the Proto DI on a super compact board, yummy yummy. Congrats y'all !

I can’t remember the last time (maybe well over a year ago) that a drop was a small batch but those were typically 25 iirc. I wouldn’t be surprised if the drop was bigger than 25.
There’s 7 for sure in here with some more probably not saying anything yet.

Handles line level, the LA-1A won't, input Lundahl transformer and the exact same Kenetek opto-attenuator as a LA-2A. The LA-1A is no slouch but this one looks like taking it to a step further.

* Didn't rage-bought the DLA-2A if i'm honest. Tried to snag both, but the DLA-2A 'only' makes my day. Stoked !

Can you say more about the Quicksilver offering the Archetype tonal profile? Josh says "The 12AT7 is configured similar to the Broughton Archetype family of pedals and preamps. One triode directly feeds a heavily amplified signal into the other triode, which is biased to give asymmetrical compression and harmonics, greatly amplifying the effect while only needing one tube. Although this can provide overdrive, it shines best as on the edge of breakup." I always understood this to mean that the electrical path is similar, but it sounds like you think they are tonally quite similar as well?
