Broughton Audio Super Thread

So I decided to put the hx stomp in the capo pre loop. Sounds good so I guess I didn’t mess anything up lol
It can be confusing. Now all of your delays and modulation are after what the preamp section is doing. The advantage is that you now have the benefit of the Capo’s preamp running into your multi-effect HX, rather than having the Stomp Box influencing your preamp.

It's the newest Lefebvre hotness.

Gotta say the capo is built like a freakin tank. Talk about the feeling of quality in your hands. I’m impressed so far. Son is working night shift so I havent been able to crank it today but we will try that shortly
How are you hooked up? Are you using it straight into your amp, or running it into another pre?

Tuner>la1a>capo>hx stomp in the capo loop>amp
Start with the “A” side only. The “Bite” and “Deep” switch depressed. The “N” or “Style” knob interacts with both the “Gain” and “Level”. 10:00- 2:00 on the “Style” knob. I would start with both the “Gain” and “Level” knobs @ 10:00. The “Gain”, “Style” and “Level” knobs operate as three different preamps. It’s complicated.

To further complicate the Capo, the “B” side uses two small trim knobs as a volume boost over the “A” side. Be careful using the “B” side. The “Gain” trim acts just like a gain circuit and the “Level” is self explanatory, but if you depress the “B” side foot switch, the “B” side precedes the “”A” side. If the smaller trim buttons on the “B” side are turned up, its gonna sound awful. This is where the A/B switch comes in: it re-routes the signal from the “A” side to the boosted or cut “B” side.

You can do all kind of things with the Effect Loop; the volume of the Effect Loop is determined by the output of the effect. TBH, i dont know how this is determined using the “B” side, but using just the “A” side, the overall volume of the Effect Loop is further governed by the “Level” knob of the Capo.
