Gotta give us more. If the RFE is the sole effect you’re running it would certainly be post preamp. I would add a HPF after it, though.

Thanks. I’ve been using an HX stomp into a powered cab but am wanting to get back to analog effects and my tube amp instead so ordered the capo and got the RFE for hpf/lpf usage and for now am still using the stomp or the little pod express for compressor and “dirt” though will likely not need it once the capo arrives and I get a separate compressor. I may keep the pod express in the chain just to use chorus or octave or whatever when messing around but in my band I don’t use effects.

I run the RFE last in the chain downstream from the CAPO.

There are a couple different approaches you can take depending on how you intend to use the CAPO.

For me CAPO off is my clean tone, A Channel is Saturated Clean/Edge of Breakup, and B Channel is Drive.

In that scenario I recommend first setting the CAPO EQ flat, and then with both channels disengaged dial in your EQ on the RFE. Then turn on just the B Channel (which has no EQ controls of it's own) and dial in the level of saturation you desire. Then switch to the A Channel, dial in your tone there and make any EQ adjustments you deem necessary... Given you already established a baseline EQ with the RFE I suspect EQ tweaks on CAPO Channel A will be relatively minor, unless of course you're looking to have a drastically different EQ (I'm not).

If you plan on using just two tones, with CAPO Channel A being your always on "Clean" or baseline tone, and Channel A > B for your drive/higher gain tone... I recommend switching on only the B Channel, dialing in the RFE and then switching to Channel A and adjusting the EQ if so desired.
(Bare in mind that any EQ adjustments on the CAPO in this scenario will have a dramatic impact on how channel B saturates... A little goes a very long way.)
Then turn on both A and B and make any minor adjustments that may be necessary.... At this point I suspect any tweaks will most likely be balancing levels/volume matching.

If running B > A, adjustments to EQ on Channel A will not affect how the Channel B Preamp saturates, so you can dial in whatever EQ floats your boat with out ending up needing to readjust Channel B. Set your saturation, volume match the channels, and let her eat...

I have ended up basing m sound around the Parabellum. Combined with my LA1A I get such great toobitude that I ended up selling all my super high end Tube DIs and use just a passive Radial. I think it has something to do with the pentode tube in the Edison circuit. My old favorite was the Sonic Farm 2id4 in pentode mode.

The Edison really is a unique vibe and has a stupid amount of gain, but I'm using it just a bit above unity. Feels like it raises something in the EQ band like a comp while making things just a bit blurry. Plus it looks just so damn cool.
