Broughton Audio Super Thread

Well, looking at what I paid for some Brougtons on the secondary market this really is the way.
Be that as it may, it has come to pass that when someone blatantly attempts this, then IMG_0065.gif
From further purchases.

So the one pedal rule was imposed.
Things got a bit out of hand for a while.
Kinda frowny.

Got this gizmo hours ago. Stupid Sun went down early. Caint play it until tomorrow. Expect the Hagerman in the next coupla days. Will report back for future rage buys.
This has had a permanent spot on towards the end of my board for a year and a half now, and for my last gig I finally switched the boost on. Had no idea what I was missing.

Hi everyone!

Long time lurker, first time poster and also a very happy owner of an EU voltage P15.

Been following this thread for a few years now and I just wanted to see if i had my facts straight between all the different P15 versions?
  • V1: Hammertone case/leather handle, on-LED on rear, no line out. (100 made?)
  • V2: Hammertone case/leather handle, on-LED on front panel with added line out.
  • V3: Hammertone case/leather handle, same as V2 but new panel layout?
  • V4. Black steel case/aluminium handle, same as V3 but with new case/housing? (current version)
Just wondering if I missed anything? I didn't see anything definitive since 2018 when there were only 2 versions?

More curiosity than anything else :)

Really liking fliptop and svpre as a/b on the board with the RFE after. Feel like I can cover practically any clean sound. I think I’m splitting my time 50/50 on them for late night headphone jams.

Pretty sure output difference from the RFE directly into headphones is related to output impedance. Didn’t ask Josh but into my interface and amp - both are significantly less noticeable.
