Browne basses..I pulled the trigger! (pics inside!)

Well, I got it today. All I can say is that it is outstanding in every way, and the playability is truly second to none. I will post a detailed review later, but it simply KILLS! The fastest bass I've laid hands upon, without a doubt.

A BIG thanks to Mike Browne...he nailed it! I couldn't recommend the experience I had with him or the final product more!

More to come...

Thanks, man! I'm on break from a church rehearsal...the school I teach at is 2 minutes from the church, so I came over to check my email. I have 20 minutes 'till we hit.

First, the bass SCREAMS through the mix with the pickup configuration being where it is! Just super punchy. The E isn't quite as loud as the A, D or G, but it's close. Just played "Not Ashamed" as an uptempo funk tune instead of the island-reggae thing...16th notes jumped out of the amp. Absolutely zero resistance. It's a very, very fast bass!
The neck is very comfortable, and the reach to the first fret is a breeze.
Slap tone is sick! The only thing I wasn't digging is the gig bag....too thin for a bass of this caliber. I threw it in my leather Low End bag..just what the doctor ordered!
Anyway, it's killin', and I get to play it live in a few minutes for a bunch of pre-Superbowl churchgoing funk-lovers!
