My LaBella Bubby Lewis White Nylon tapes just came in!! They’re blue silks hand-wound over silver-plated wire underlays, wrapped in clear nylon. That look cool and sound really good! They’re extremely limited edition strings. I’ve been waiting for these to go back into production for a while now. I’m so pumped. Beau-the-bass-loving-dog likes them too.

I don’t even own a 6-string (yet!), but I bought 2 sets of the 6 strings for my Elrick 6 string when it’s ready later this year.

If you’re looking for some, they still have the 4 & 5 string sets.

Interesting. I didn't know they were back, and I didn't know, the first time around, that they were silver-plated (I just thought the blue strip was the only difference with the regular White Nylons, which in turn are stainless steel AFAIK)...

I only wish they bothered explaining "silver-plated"...what.
(In fairness, it's hardly the first time I've seen it in string descriptions, though.)

I was on the email list, so I was there the minute they announced them. I don't know the extent of 'silver-plated', but they sure are groovy looking strings.
