All of My 5 Sadowsky's have come in the Access Stage 5 (Branded Sadowsky Portabag) It is the best case I have used. I would not be affraid to trust them at all. I actually have 2 new Access stage 5 cases that I have as spares that I'm going to list in the classifieds.
I have never had a desire for a flamed top. I have never had a desire for a flamed board. I have never had a desire for a burst finish. I have never had a desire for any translucent finish of any kind. I have never had a desire for a 5, and have never been curious enough to even touch one even one time. I have never owned a bass with any kind of string tree whatsoever. I have never had a desire for a Sadowsky, and I'm not sure why.
All of that beingbsaid, I would say two things: 1) That, sir, is a drop-dead gorgeous instrument, and it would make me think of trading. 2) I wouldn't care if it was a 5. Meaning - if it for some reason ended up being mine (willed to me, or whatever) I would keep it and play it.
I kid you not. That bass is freakin' sick. That thing has turned me, and that really takes some doing.
Congratulations, TB compatriot. Life is short. And that bass is siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick.

A stunning bass, now I wish I had a roasted maple neck on my 24 fret. As nickpc has said, since I got my first Sadowsky it’s how I judge all other basses.
Not that you need another post saying "WOW!" but ...... WOW! 
And that neck and fingerboard .... WOW!!!!
Regarding Access Stage 5 bags (and I'll assume Sadowsky Portabags, I've never owned one), they're outstanding. Pricey, but outstanding. I love mine and have zero concerns about putting my pride and joy in it.

Man! That is gorgeous. I am literally in the process of ordering a Sadowsky, so I know just how much that Master Grade Roasted Flame Maple neck costs!!

Holy wow! Congrats, mang. This is actually one of my “bucket list” basses as well. I hope it plays and sounds as lovely as it looks.
