budget replacment for darkglass pedals.(under 200)

You could just get a boss ODB3. Believe it or not, it can get in the same grind realm if set properly. I could anyway.

Agreed. The SA and the DG BxK pedals don't make my list of favorites, but they are unique, and good at what they do. I also felt the SA did a nice job of presenting a DG sound (I actually liked it more than the B7K). If you want a pedal that does the DG but isn't a DG, then it would be a viable option, in my mind.

I do not think the B3K/B7K sounds like the ODB-3 at all, FWIW.

+1 more for the SA Aftershock. I haven't found a sound I couldn't get out of it. And as a bonus when some other dirt strikes your fancy (and it will) you can twiddle knobs and app settings until your heat's content.

With the AfterShock can you have say 3 tube OD's ready to go (1 on each switch) or do you have to have 1 tube, 1 distortion and 1 fuzz?

I never got mine to sound anything resembling my B3K. Or ever heard one. I was never happy with the VT Bass, and tried desperately to get on with it from all the (reasonable) hype. I liked the B3K as soon as I tried it.

The B3K is the antithesis of the SVT tone, imo. Closer to a bright Marshall. As for the ODB-3, I've gotten cool sounds, but I also think it sounds unlike the B3K(less metallic by far)

You have to use the app, but yes you can save presets to the different switch positions that don't correspond to the labels. Three different tube OD emulation presets would be possible.

As answered above you can save any presets you want via the app. You can also access three more via a basic tap tempo, so 6 different user presets available.

On the other hand, I couldn't get it to sound close to any of my favourite dirt sounds and found it frustrating to program so sold it on very quickly.

I found you had to adjust your playing style a little bit, I was able to get that signature bite with digging in with a pick at 45 degrees from the string, scraping it while picking. With the character knob past noon, it turns from the B15 to more of a modern, alt-rock/metal sounding tone.

I LOVE my OJ!
Been pretty much leaving it on at all times during recent gigs. It can be subtle or raucous.
Stacks well with my Rat Tail and with my recently acquired Fredric Green Russian.

I've never used a darkglass, but from what I've heard, I think I can get pretty close (at least a bloody good distortion tone) going into a odb-3 with gain at 8-8:30 and then into my joyo ultimate drive which you set with the amount of gain you are wanting. I am recording in a week so will get clips.
I also have a vtbass at the end of my chain which helps a lot but it does still sound good without it.
