To start building, unless you're comfortable determining your own box dimensions using winISD, I'd just start with a tl-606 loaded with Eminence 3015, or MAYBE Faital pro 15pr400. That'd give you what is probably the single best "one woofer/no crossover/no mid/no tweeter" cab there could be. It'll push A LOT of air, and sound good doing it!
