I can't imagine that a ramp would make it easier than tilting and sliding it in. The OP didn't mention what 8x10 it was, but if it doesn't have slide rails, adding them would make more sense to me than building (and storing) a ramp. On my cabs I make my own out of HMWPE, which is pretty slippery.
....... You find an Evel Knievel tribute act that your band can tour the state/county fair & apple butter circuit with. Then, you can have his crew haul it, AND charge him a fee to use it!! Damn, I'm smart as hell, I swear.....
