Building My First Rig and Looking For Advice

If you want to keep the stereo capability of the GED, might consider getting a stereo power amplifier like a crown xls or peavey IPR and you can probably find an 810 SVT cab rather cheap, they're typically less than 500 in the St Louis area. That's a stereo cabinet (top 410 and bottom 410 @ 8 ohm each). If you wanna try mono and move a lot less gear, I'd recommend trying a mark bass head through a 410 or 212. Mark bass is fairly transparent, just try to get a fairly new one as repairs can be hard to get done on them if needed
