It really is a roll of the dice. If you are capable of doing fretwork, finishing nuts and other work you might get a bargain..... or you might get firewood.

I recently rolled the dice on a dirt cheap pickup. (Full thread here) All of $25 delivered to me in New Zealand so around $15 USd.
It sounds surprisingly good in the bass I put it in and I've gotten more compliments on the sound of that bass than any other I have ever owned. One guy came up to me at the bar between sets asking what effects I was using and couldn't believe that it was just a cheap pickup straight into the amp and the desk.

I also got some cheap Wilkinson tuners (Hipshot style) that, after pulling them apart and lubing them a tiny bit, work every bit as well as the most expensive tuners I have. Will they last? Who knows, but for the money they are great. The Wilkinson bridge is also serviceable for very few dollars.

Basically, you might get something that with a little work can actually be a pretty good bass. Or you might get something with a dodgy neck that is unplayable.

Just remember, the reason for the low price is going to show up somewhere along the way. I will say the pictures of the bass are outstanding.

Note that of the two I bought (I sent the worst one back to Amazon), the better one was only 9lbs and the other one was 8.9lbs.

Consensus from the Amazon reviews seems to be: decent bass if you're comfortable with fret leveling and basic setup work.

Not many dual MM basses out there until you spend a little more for an SBMM, but aesthetically, functionall and tonally they're going to be very different instruments.

The Ibanez SRX line seems to be the inspiration for the Bullfighter, though they're not exactly MM pickups.

Aside from all the "Chinglish" it looks like copy of a Schecter. I'd pass. There are better legit alternatives available.

I bought one. It arrived in good condition with the exception of a quarter turn on the truss rod. No sharp edges on the frets and a great neck. It stands toe-toe with my EMG equipped basses in the same configuration.
