Ok I googled it - and there are new owners. "The company is currently working on re-engineering its existing vintage designs to meet more modern standards".
Hey everyone, proud new owner of a 1965 Baldwin Burns Baby Bison in sunburst. Everything is original but for the pegs, although the originals came with it in the case. She's in lovely nick for her age, and plays nicely. With some minor servicing and a fresh set up, this grand old lady will be banging it out.

Hey everyone, been trying to find a more precise date for my Baby Bison. Understood it to be 1965, but after finding 4 authenticated serial numbers and dates on the web, I think it might be from around September 1966.
EG: SN15273 = 19 May 66, SN15905 = June-July 66, SN17198 = 31 Oct 66, SN18279 = Nov-Dec 66.
Mine is 16916, so maybe around late September or early October. ATM don't feel like going searching for a date stamp under the neck etc.
If anyone has an idea of a more accurate date please let me know.

Not trying to take over this thread from Steamtronic, but I am getting bored during lockdown so I thought I'd pop up a very tentative list of BOC members, starting with numbers allocated by Steamtronic (1-6), then by post date from someone who owns and/or posts a pic of their Burns. Before I got my Sunburst Baby Bison I tried for a white version. Sadly it was on a local community site that did not facilitate non- local sales. Curse of the guitar collector. Yours is absolutely stunning. Excellent choice.

I've just been servicing my Baby Bison and would like to replace the strings with a new short scale light gauge set. Does anyone have any recommendations?
I've also noticed that the floating Rezo bridge is slightly skewed upwards on the bottom E string side, floating maybe 1 or 2mm higher than the top G string side. After checking an online manual, I expect this can be remedied by removing the backing plate and adjusting the relevant tension spring(s) to bring both back within the preferred 3mm tolerance - but before I start, I'm happy to get any advice or tips.

Nearly 40 years ago, someone gave me a bust up body (only!) of a Burns bass. I didn't have the wherewithal to do anything with it then, but (thanks Mr WorldWideWeb..) I do now; so although I have no Ser/nbr, it's ID'd as a Vista Sonic and now has a bespoke neck (great job, Lighthouse Guitars UK) and off-the-shelf tuners.
There are a few posts above about electrical info. Does anyone have a proven-good circuit diagram that they could share, or even just sharp photos of the components mounted onto the scratchplate on a working bass, so I could match them? I have vol, tone, and 4-way rotary switch on top, and two inductors, a capacitor and a resistor under the hood, to run the three pickups (which each seem ok).
So near, but so far.....
Photos with scratchplate off shows just how faded the body got over nearly 60 years...
