Sorry to be a party pooper, but there isn't anything a Pbass can do that a G&L can't do better. Leo intentionally designed G&L's to fix what he saw as defects on his original design, hard to argue with the man who invented the bass guitar as we know it, but I'm sure somebody will. I tried to bond with Pbasses, still feel crude and unfinished next to my G&L, so sue me.

Yes.

I mean I dig a P bass. I really like mine. I also really like the Tony Franklin. But let's get real: as good as they are, there are better. To me anyway.

I tend to agree with this, based on the few G&L basses I have played.
However, I got my P bass pretty cheaply (unlike most G&Ls I see), and while the G&Ls are undoubtedly superior in every way, my Precision ain't bad. I am not disappoint. :D

I love my G&Ls, but there's something so simple and perfect about a P...

Original mike dirnt Pbass 2012. I brought it for the specs not the player and it actually combined my favorite things about Paul Jackson from the headhunters live and studio basses. This thing is a beast! custom shop 59' pup, BAII bridge and a chunky as hell neck. I slapped some flats on it and it's the funkiest thing I own including two jazz basses I call it Funkasuras Rex (has an original Jrassic park sticker from 1992 under the pg in case it gets stolen). Before this I was strictly a Jazz guy now not any more! !!!
