Buying a new, quality portable CD player - do they still exist?

I am in the market for a new, portable CD player of good quality, but it seems virtually every decent brand is gone from the market? From a feature point of view, I look for:
- good sound through headphones
- ability to drive a pair of AKG 271 studio (55 ohms, med/low sensitivity)
- line out
- high quality
- some sort of shock mitigation system
- ability to play CDR
- ability to play mp3

Nice to have:
- digital out
- carrying bag
- not made in China

I would prefer to get a premium consumer product from brands like Denon, Sony, Marantz, JVC, Panasonic etc. It does not have to be cheap; I would easily pay $100 or more for a good consumer device.
Semi professional machines are also an option, but I do not really find any. Second hand is NOT an option, though.

All suggestion are welcome!
