BYOC 5 Knob Compressor Review?

Hey guys.

First off I was wondering if anyone had tried any of their kits on bass, and if so what were their feelings toward the performance?

I've been looking at tackling their 5 Knob Compressor just to see if it's as dynamic as they say it is. I'm not in TERRIBLE need for the pedal, as I'm happy with my Keeley, but i'm one of those type people that likes to get my hands dirty in some crafty work such as building pedals.

If anybody has any input on how well the 5 knob works with bass before I sink a nice bill into it, i'd much appreciate it.

I haven't tried the Keeley or the BYOC but logic tells me that if the Keeley works for you, the BYOC will too (as they are clones of the same pedal). If anything, it seems like the BYOC should be better for bass than the Keely because it has the blend knob.

Edit: bongo beet me to it.
