C.V or Squire P Bass review

I have a 2015 CV70's p bass, and it's absolutely phenomenal. Compared with the old MIM standard P I had, and the new player series I was considering at the same time, the CV blew them both away in feel, tone, and craftsmanship IMO. 10/10 would recommend.

How come you've had 7?!
Good question. Because I buy would buy them used when they could be had for $200 and then sell them for profit . Only to find another because I missed it. PBass is not my main player but when I need that PBass with flats vibe, nothing else feels and sounds as good without spending Fender American
Standard or AVRI $. I dont find it wise to spend that much when it won't be one of my main players.
They have become harder to come by and prices have increased to around $600. So when I bought this last one about 3 yrs ago , it hasn't left me. And it won't.
The necks are amazing, rolled edges , stock pickups are voiced just right. These things were too good . Fender knew it too.

Sounds like you contributed to inflating the price :)
I'm pretty sure a memo came down from Corona telling every other factory to stop rolling edges or nobody would ever buy MIAs again.

My 2013 CV Precision. Currently setup for blues. The only mod that I've done to it was to install a Seymour Duncan SPB-3 and Fender USA wiring harness. The neck on this is absolutely killer! Plus it's one hell of a fabulous looking bass.

It's called Golden Bronze. Very limited.

Beautiful Bass! One to be very proud of. I had a first year (made in China) Classic Vibe P bass and really liked it. I too put a Seymour Duncan SPB-3 in it. Great tone and feel. For my birthday in 2011 my wife gave me $900 to put toward a first year Fender American Special so I traded my CV P and CV J to get it.
