I have a LMII and Im looking for cabs as my EBS 311 is too expensive+heavy.
I've narrowed it donw to three options. Please don't tell em to go try it myself, I would if I could. Please give your opinion. Thanks.
Options are:
-Eden Nemesis 2x10+1x15
-Ashdown MAG 4x10 and Ashdown ABM 1x15
-Ashdown ABM 4x10.

I don't like a booming low end sound. I like clear tone with nice lowlow-mids (100hertz).
Please have in account volume+quality of sound. Generally just what YOU would buy.
Thanks, I appreciate your help.

First of all, which Eden 210 are you talking about? Cuz if you're saying the 210XLT... I'll say none of the above, and get the Eden 212XLT. They're actually lighter than the 210XLT, easier to carry up stairs cuz the handle placement is better balanced, and the tone from them will make you forget all about 15" cabinets. Superdeep, but tighter and faster response than a 15" driver, and still all the Eden midrange growl.

I'm afraid you haven't read correctly, it isn't the Eden XLT series, but the Eden Nemesis series: NSP210 and NSP 115

Asa U say- "go w/ what you would do"- so I'd probly go for the ABM 410 depending if it were 4 ohms-to get max power outta the LMII. If it were 8 ohms I'd go the Mag 410 & ABM 15". LMII would sound HUGE with this set up! I've done it-NOT with these particular brands, but the LMII with a custom 4x10" & EV TL115. Both 8 ohm cabs. Sounded Monstrous!!!!!!!

What do you mean by rumbly?
does it give a clear, voluminous sound with clear enough low ends? I really care that my sound is clear and perceptible in rehearsal and gigs, I don't want to sound just like continuous thunder.

ABM is out of question actually, it weighs as much as my EBS.

I have an old Mag 300 paired with the Mag 4x10 and the Mag 1x15, its not bad, plenty of mids. Thinking about selling it, but it was my first stack. I found them rather lacking in the lowend however and I eventually moved onto the ABM series and I'm much more satisfied.

As for the Mag cabs, they're not very heavy at all, I can pick up the 4x10 one handed easily. However I find that at louder volumes, at least paired with the Mag head, that the sound seems kind of 'woofy' up close but I've gotten good comments about the sound quality from a distance of 20+ feet. So that leaves me kinda confuzzled. Again, that could be a symptom of the head and the fact that I don't use a lot of treble and try and get a deep bassy response. As for louder volumes, I mean the volume knob cranked all the way and the gain knob at about 60%

I played through it with a MIJ Jazz bass with roundwounds and it sounded excellent. I had it on 60% gain, 100% output and it sounded pretty clear. A friend actually heard it on the way to my house from a block and a half over. I was practicing inside. :hyper:

the eden stuff that you mentioned is the only group on the list i would consider, especially comign from a high quality EBS cab i think some of the choices might leave you disappointed. you should check out an epifani ul 2x12 or 3x10 used...would cover your needs sonically and as far as portability is concerned.

Epifani is actually to expensive and also unaccessible for Spain.
So its up to Nemesis or Mag+ABM.
I really need to make up my mind. I think my ehad willg vie no problem, I love my LMII. I just want to know if the MAG 410 gives a god quality sound. I actually am not too professional to notice the difference in a very big way, but still I dont want any problems whatsoever. I want a clear sound. Will the MAG's do this? If the MAG gives a good sound, I willd efinitely go for the MAG and the ABM, more volume I daresay. And also the low end will be boosted with the ABM cab, so I just want a clear treblle and mid sound from the MAG
So, Nemesis or Ashdown?

I used to have an Ashdown ABM 4x10, but got rid of it becuase I wanted a deeper low end. The cab did sound great in a boomy club as it tended to cut through and not get too muddy in the back of the club. Sounds like it might work out good for you.

ABM is out of question as my EBS is as heavy,
However, maybe a Nemesis 410 could do it well.
