Lots of bass players have been using PA technology since the early 70's because they dig the sound and it has some technological points that they see as an advantage. It's not an insult to say that about a bass cab. The TB153 is definitely designed for bass, as the TB stands for Talkbass (it's Avatar's take on the fEarful cab, actually). But the only major difference between it and a PA cab is that PA's these days separate the subs from the mid driver and tweeter so the mid/tweeter cabs are smaller and easier to put on poles or hang from trusses.
Hey,Jimmy,t-t--ta-ta-take it eeezy.just went away awhile ,while the wife made up some oatmeal-banana-coconut baked cookies.I had to force myself into about 7 of them.And to watch the end of the Boston-Van hockey game.No offence taken,but i can say again-whatever single 15 and 210 cab as a pair ,just sounds off to me.I now own a Eden XLT 410-mint, and pulled the drivers to save them and put in BP 102s. different eq now( 3 days of trial) killer bottom-less mids-complete different sound,but very useable-oops,sorry-de railed the thread.
