It isn't tangled it's some kind of electroacoustic science.^^^ Oh, what a tangled web we weave...![]()

Avatar is calling these

At the same time they say

Nein bruder. It isn't tangled it's some kind of electroacoustic science.
Keep every time in mind that every engineer out there will do it's very best to provide you with some gear that makes you feel happy at a resonable charge for gear.
All those numbers don't mean all that much. You will be powering 4 10's with a 900 watt rms head. You have more than enough power for anything. I use a 2x10 400 watt Yorkville combo with a 1x15 xl Hartke extension cabinet. More power than I have needed for any venue. You have 900 watts into 4x10's which is similar to what I'm pushing so you have 3 db + more headroom than I have.I have a 700 watt 2x10 8 ohm. cab and a 900 watt Bass head (4 ohms) If I add another exact same cab (1400 watts total); Will I be "Under Powering" my cabs. or is that ridiculous? Is there any risk involved at all to the cabs. or the head? Thanks. btw, it's a Genz Benz Streamliner 900 and a (? soon to be two) Avatar Delta pro 2x10 cab(s) ceramic not neo if it matters at all ...?
All things need to be entirely equal to conclude a 3dB headroom advantage from power availability alone. Never a thread where things were less equal. All those numbers don't mean all that much. richtig bruder, wenn man alles glaubt was das web sagt dann kannst du dich gleich eingraben.Nein bruder.

My point is that 900 watts is more than enough for any 4x10 setup and should supply ample headroom. All things need to be entirely equal to conclude a 3dB headroom advantage from power availability alone. Never a thread where things were less equal.
Without any real specs who knows what they really are? There is a Delta Pro MR (midrange), it has an 80oz magnet. So does the Delta Pro 12. They claim extended xmax, so what is it? IMO this is just another example of advertising hokum. It wouldn't be the first time that Avatar didn't even know what the specs were on the speakers they were selling. So if I'm someone else ...
I did not read every word in every post here but Avatar provides some information on their website:
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Avatar B210 features two CUSTOM AMERICAN made Eminence Delta PRO ten inch bass speakers and a Foster Horn Tweeter. These custom designed Eminence Pro tens are made just for Avatar and have large 56 oz magnets for greater efficiency. These custom designed tens also have extended cone travel (Xmax) for improved low end and lightweight die cast aluminum baskets for extra rigidity.
That reads like these custom designed Delta speakers are not availble as stock speakers.
Wasn't there an anology thing in the past?
Unfortunate (for potential customers) truth. S-i-a-B.Without any real specs who knows what they really are? There is a Delta Pro MR (midrange), it has an 80oz magnet. So does the Delta Pro 12.
