Cabs in America

With all due respect, you may be missing two better 212 options, although I'd personally go with the punchier 410s for your purposes. Not to mention, they also make a 412!

NXV212 ‘Neo X-Treme Vintage’ Series Bass Loudspeaker | Bergantino Audio Systems
NXT212 ‘Neo X-Treme Technology’ Series 2-12″ w/Tweeter | Bass Loudspeaker | Bergantino Audio Systems

HG410X = 3D Loudspeaker | Bergantino Audio Systems
HG412 Loudspeaker | Bergantino Audio Systems

Bergantino remains best bass cabs I've heard.

So ..I play Schroeder cabs ....Hand made right here is the USA in California!!!! Jorg Schroeder gives the best customer service around!!!!! He has any and I mean any cab config you could ask for!!!...They are lightweight ....One of mine is a 812 with titanium bullet tweet that is controlled VERY precisely by a dial pot and not just a 3 way switch (usually a +6 /off/-6) or something to that affect !!!! They have GREAT tone!!!!.....My 812 is just that ...1x8...1x12 with tweet and it can handle 1000 watts @4 ohms and weighs in at about 41 lbs!!!!!! My 2nd cab is a 115 .....1x15 600 watt @8 ohm and weighs about 30 lbs!!!!!!....and the kicker is the price!!!!....low priced for the caliber of cabs they are for sure!!!!!!.....They are WORTH more than the price for SURE!!!!....Check em out man!!!!!!!!.....

80 mph winds, downed trees and power lines and thunderstorms could not stop the mighty brown truck…

Rock those bad boys! :)
Hells yeah my friend! :DWarmup gig tomorrow night and taco bar gig Friday.

Tomorrow I am going to use both just to see how she blows and scare the guitarists but, I’m already pretty certain I’m just going to hook up the 12” Friday night. I’ll bring both just for the height and to watch the owner get a little nervous, though.:laugh:

So how do you like the AP bass????
Love it!
About 4-5 years ago I decided it was time to wrap my head around a fiver and got a Schecter Stiletto Stage-5. It was a great bass but didn’t bond with me so, off it went. I gave it a couple of years and a little more thought and ended up with the AP-5. It just feels so much better in my hands. The biggest ergonomic factor for me going from 4 to 5 strings was the thickness (fretboard face to thumb position on back of neck)of the neck. Aside from all of that, it looks a hell of a lot better, too.:D
The quality of components, paint and build quality is a step or two better, also.
Even after getting it, it didn’t get much use until the end of this past winter when I committed myself to using through the rest of the year. Now, it’s second nature and no big deal toggling from the five to four string.
