I've been using mine with a couple of Nahas cabs I've had for several years nows. An 18" cube with 1-15 and a smaller cab with 1-12 and a horn. These cabs hit hard with this amp. Really hard. Can't really improve on it.

Just got the amp and wow...It sounds great.
Except Guitar Center sucks. They sent me an obviously used amp with noticeable wear on the finish and they didn't send a power cord! I'm pissed!

Peter Murray is keeping track of these GC issues and feeding them back to Markbass.
That sounds like a good idea. I have nothing against markbass, Peter seems to stand behind the product 100%. Although I've heard multiple issues with Guitar center sending out used heads as new.
This amp sounds a little more punchy than my iamp 600, I'm a fan of the VLE filter more so than the VPF (probabaly not called that)
and the EQ section of this amp is very powerful
NOTE: I just returned my obviously used/abused LM II to GC today. Wouldn't put it past them to repackage it and send it out to someone. The master knob is completely tweeked/non-functioning.

My Schroeder 1210L kills! I love it. Gotta tame the mids a bit, though. It really does sound incredible, both in definition and umpf.

So how much of your appreciation for MB can be attibuted to MB's and Schroeder's yellows being so similar?

OFF topic a bit I know... I'm getting a LMII in a day or so- Anyone know If I can plug an uprite in thru the XLR input while at the same time plug my elec. into the 1/4" jack input? I WON'T be playing them both at the same time!!! ;-)

Perhaps I'm oversimplifying, but does this little beast sound bad through anything?? I have played mine through exstensively through my Schroeder 1212R and a Fender Pro Ext 15". In a backline situation I have played it through SWR Goliath III. I'll be surprised if it ever sounds bad to me.
I played it through an accugroove El. W. and I didnt really like it. Not that it sounded bad but there are a lot of cabs that I would use with the LMK befroe the El. W.
No, I sure didnt. I did have an older epi 212 that I sold that I tried with the LMK. That cab didnt have the high end that I like. I would guess that with the ul 112 stack and having two tweeters (and that the new tweeters sound better to me), you would still have that dark epi sound and punch with a nice high end.
I haven't heard mine sound bad, just different... particularly through an SWR Triad cab I recently got. I run it flat through my Nahas cabs and it can easily knock down small to medium sized children (I have pics), OTOH with the SWR it has more of a scooped sound with the same settings (EQ flat, filters off).
The Triad is kind of strange in that the brunt of the work seems to be done by the single 10" speaker. The 15 is crossed over at 100 hz so it's functioning more like a sub. Probably would sound much better by allowing the 15 to do more of the work.
I ran the LMII through my EA VL110 cabs and it pushed them more easily than anything else I've tried so far.
Using an ACME B1 8 ohm ... still in the breakin period for the cab ... cant say much yet ...
But my impression is that the LMII will easily power this cab.
