Arjen Anthony Lucassen is my biggest musical influence. That is one amazing Dutch artist.

Although his Ayreon project isn't metal actually, IMO it's prog rock mixed with new age and medieval music.
Star One is metal... although it is on the borderline. Still Space Metal is an amazing album.

After the Burial has to be one of my fave "Core" bands they are extremely talented and have excellent execution skills, they even use 8 string guitars. The only thing that made me have a gripe is they sampled the intro solos live
