CALLING ALL TBers! FIELD TRIP FOR STATISTICS!

Louisville wasn't open for Black Friday was it?

A good friend of mine who still lives in Louisville recently told me about them finally getting a GC. There used to be several really nice stores in Louisville but over the years they had slowly disappeared.
I think Mom's Musicians General Store is the only one left.
If you can check ity out while you're there.

That's another one of the things I like about Seattle. (I left Louisville in 1999) Four GC locations (five if you count Tacoma) relatively close.
Plus, if you look hard enough, you can actually find a helpful/intelligent sales associate in some of them.
And we have a Parson's tech in each one.

OK.... found one (and now it's mine!).... KS10104814 from Guitar Center, Lake Forest, CA. $720 out the door (coupon) and no case. So far, I have to say I liked it enough to buy it. If it ages as well as my Korean Danelectro, I will be very happy. It soulds and plays very well its cost. Enjoyable to have some volume when not plugged in.... almost as loud as many acoustic basses. TV Jones p/u do make it happen tonally.

I was in Guitar Center, Lynnwood WA yesterday and they have ANOTHER one hanging on the back wall of the bass room, way up high, out of reach of the spankspastic kiddies.

They were very busy yesterday so I'll try to get the serial number later this week.

Thank Chuck.
