1. Have owned: 97 FNA 5, 98 Thumb NT 4, 99 Thumb NT 5, 01 Thumb bolt 4, 2000 limited GC fna jazzman, 99 corvette standard, 2005 corvette fretless 4, Corvette FNA jazzman 5
Currently own: 05 Corvette Custom (bass culture dual hums, Noll 2 band preamp, special neck with flame inlays and flame W......see avatar), 2006 Streamer FNA Jazzman 4, 93 Streamer neck thru 4
2. I started playing warwicks in 2005 (and have played fender , modulus, Musicman, MTD......you get the picture)
3. My current band is hard rock based. I have used my warwicks for classic rock, blues, modern country, and yes ......metal. (former owner of my 93 streamer played JAZZ)
No matter what basses I play, and I have tried many, I still find myself in love with my warwicks. I think for me, the bottom line is the streamer body style and I prefer the FNA jazzman pickup arrangement and prefer bolt on. I can do whatever I want when i am holding my blue streamer fna jazzman 4! Hahaha

I bought off of TB of course a '95 5 string Fortress Masterman. Sadly, it was destoyed when my house burned down. Looking for another one guy's, same year, same model. Let me know if you have one. -Luke

3. I use both of them in a thrash metal band and but the Vette gives better tone for this. I use the Dolphin for all other genres but mostly power metal and rock.

07' german corvette fretless 4 string
00' streamer standard 5 string fretless conversion.
i've had the corvette since december of 07. and the streamer since june this year.
I plan to get lots lots more. i'm completely hooked. the list? i want an infinity, and at least a streamer stage 1 or two 5 or 6 string fretless, with bartolini soap bars or jazzes.
plus, i wouldn't mind a couple fretted clones.
i'm in music school, so i use my warwicks for everything. but i mostly play heavy rock, metal, some "trip-hop" type stuff and some alternative pop stuff.

2- I just got them over the course of the last year and a half after trying Warwicks for the 1st time (all used/ great deals). They're so well built.
3- I just play for fun now so the style depends on what friend I'm playing with. They're versatile basses.
I have a lot of instruments (I do play my nylon string way more than I do bass) and out of my basses, the Warwicks are my favorite. I'm looking to get some custom instruments next year by some of the amazing luthiers who create gorgeous works of art that I'm learning about from this site. I'm curious how the Warwicks will hold up against the expensive custom instruments. Any opinions on that?

3. this bass has facilitated my move away from "classic rock" style music (yay!). since buying it i've been able to really get into some different ways of playing, like acoustic guitar-style fingerpicking, tapping, and using more harmonics, that were previously inaccessible to me. the hi-fi sound quality is ideal for experimenting with fancy techniques like that.
