Calling Squier CV pimpers...

Hey there...

I picked up a Squier CV 60's P Bass for a beater...and what a nice suprise...really nice P tone and it is super lightweight and really fun to play...$350 bucks?? WOW!!!!

NOW to my actual question...

I started thinking about buying the Squier CV Jazz bass and replacing the neck with a blocked and bound neck with rosewood fingerboard (I would paint the headstock to match the white on the CV Jazz too!!!)...any ideas of what fits well on these basses?? Warmoth?? All Parts?? Might Mite?? Just figured someone had some experience with this swap before and might be able to shed some light on what necks fit the pocket on the Squier Classic Vibe Jazzes...

The good news is, if I do this...I will put the original CV Jazz neck in the classifieds for cheap!!!

Mighty mite wont have a bound and blocked rosewood board. I'd go with allparts.

Do it there great basses , but modding can be fun.

I have had 2 CV jazz bass stock , both now sold.

1 sonic blue 60s P that got a tort guard and sp-3 duncans on it, now sold.

1 CV 50s P that had a 1/4 pound duncan in it.

Now I have a stock fiesta red 60s P on the way , got it super cheap here on tb

I also have a 50s P on the way again , it has a badass II on it.


So yes I have owned 6 CV's , 2 of which i still have.
