Callowhill Basses? What do you think?

Why would you think that? Tim always gets goin ASAP on everything. My Junk was ordered a few weeks ago and the body was carved in a couple days lol. It's actually only weeks from being finished.

That's right Drew, I haven't gotten all of my wood to Tim yet and I think mine is going out to paint this evening.:p

Just kidding!

I had enquired about a bass and was told it would be quite a few months to it's starting time. That's the only reason why I had asked.....

Hey Drew.....all tracks for the new Choose to Find disc are done....you should hear how enormous the bass sounds. :D I could't be happier.

Really? That seems really odd. Never heard of that before. Whatever the case though, there's no wait anymore :)

Did you guys post any up on the CtF page? I wanna hear 'em!!:hyper:

It's cool about the CallowHill.....I'm looking forward to checking yours out eventually....I've remedied my Ristola and it now sounds fantastic. If he'll make me a 33" scale bass with some small mods than I want him to make my next one. Brian has been really good to me....very patient and extremely helpful.

The tracks were just recorded this past week. There are still guitar overdubs to be done, than mixing and mastering. suffice it to say that the album is going to be amazing. I'm really, really happy with it. PM me with your email and I may send you a teaser...;)

Hey fellas, I believe that I am going to open a new CallowHill thread that will basically be a club thread that will have numbers and other junk. This thread was origianlly opened to get feedback on the Junk basses and there is some aggrevating stuff said at the beginning of this thread that might turn some off to Tim's work. Also there is so much more to CallowHill Basses than just the Junk line. I will put a link in the new thread to this one, and feel free to keep posting here. If you know of anyone else out there that plays a CallowHill and is on TB, try and get them to poke there head in and get a number. Your feedback on this idea is welcome!

emjazz, i placed the order this morning. Tim said he can get started on it mid to end of this week. should be done mid to end of next week. J/K

What did you decide on?

I decided on the MDM. Also I think I will go with the Ash body and the birds eye maple board. Just about every player I hear live and on record is using the Ash/Maple combo. I never had this combo and hopefully it will suit what i do well.

The Final Rundown:

MDM 5
light swamp ash body
olivewood top
contrasting veneer
maple/wenge/maple neck
birds eye maple fingerboard
contrasting veneer
olivewood headstock
headstock burn
radius dual coils
finger ramp
black hardware

That sounds HOT!

I would really like the wood burning also, I might call Tim about this....hum.
